Zumba Class - Zumba is an aerobics class with a Latin accent.  It is sweeping the nation!  Zumba is a name derived from a Colombian word meaning "to move fast and have fun."  That is exactly what this class is about.  You'll dance to music and not even realize that you're working out at the same time!  Zumba has been reported to burn a sizzling 450 calories per hour!  Along with the aerobic workout, you'll work on strengthening your core muscles.  This will be a six week class and runs for one hour per night.  Please call to register in advance for the session you want to join.  Classes are held on Tuesday nights from 6:30 - 7:30 pm and new six week sessions are constantly starting.  Call us to find out when the next one begins! The class fee is $36.

Self-Defense Class for Women -   Every person deserves to feel safe!  But what happens should the unexpected take place?  Suddenly a situation doesn't feel right, or a stranger approaching catches your eye.  What should you do?  This SHARPS (Sexual Harassment, Assault, and Rape Prevention) training meets the needs of women to help reduce the likelihood of assault, utilizing the hands, legs, and feet followed by different methods of ESCAPE that can be used to avoid further attack. You'll go "hands on" with the instructor (in a defensive suit) in a fun, easy and pain-free (unless you're the instructor) class. Please wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes.  Don't be a victim!  And please bring a donation in lieu of a class fee.  These donations will directly benefit our local Victim's Advocate Unit.
