1. When is City Hall open?: Regular business hours at City Hall are Mon-Fri from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m with the exception of officially recognized holidays.

2. Where is City Hall located?: City Hall is located at 1300 South Broadway, Oak Grove, MO 64075.

3. How do I pay my utility bill?: Utility bills can be paid with check, cash or money order at City Hall during regular business hours. More information on utility billing can be reviewed in the Utility Fact & Information Sheet.

4. How do I file a citizen complaint?: A citizen complaint for all non-police matters can be filed by requesting the standard "Citizen Complaint Form" which can be obtained from City Hall. After fully completing this form it can be turned in to the appropriate department or the City Clerk.
Please Note: All police matters should be reported to the public safety department.

5. How do I get a business license?: A business license can be obtained by completing the standard “Business License Request Form” which can be obtained from the Customer Service Clerk at City Hall. Typically, a business license can be issued within 2-3 days. When submitting the form please enclose a copy of your sales tax identification form and proof of workman’s compensation coverage.

6. How do I get a building permit?: A building permit can be obtained by completing the standard "Building Permit Application Form" which can be obtained from City Hall. A community development staff member will provide assistance and/or information to you based on the type of structure.

7. How do I register my pets with the City?: Animal registration is required within the city limits of Oak Grove! Please contact City Hall to obtain an application for animal licenses. In order to register and issue a tag for your animal(s), proof of rabies vaccination is required.

8. How do I setup an inspection?: An inspection can be scheduled upon the issuance of the appropriate permit. Please allow a minimum of 24 hours notice for building inspections. Concrete inspections are subject to a 2 hour notice.

9. How do I search for Board of Alderman agendas or minutes?: Board of Alderman agendas and minutes can be found in the "Document Center" located at the top right corner of this website.

10. Can I submit an anonymous complaint to the City?: Complaints submitted to the City are generally considered confidential in nature; however, we cannot process anonymous complaints. The Missouri Legislature has established which information that a City maintains on file is entitled to protection from public disclosure in what is commonly known as the Missouri Sunshine Law. 1. What are the requirements to be a candidate for election?: Candidates must be registered to vote, must have been full-time residents of the city for at least one year prior to qualifying, and must not hold any other elective office.

2. When may I begin raising campaign funds?: A potential candidate may begin raising funds at any time after filing designation of a campaign treasurer and bank designation with the City Clerk. The campaign account must be separate from any personal accounts and used only for depositing campaign funds and making campaign expenditures.
